TSU-68 (SU6668, Orantinib) is a potent inhibitor to receptor tyrosine kinases Flk-1/KDR, PDGFRβ, and FGFR1, with Ki of 2.1 μM, 1.2 μM, and 8 nM, respectively. TSU68 binds to and inhibits the autophosphorylation of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2), platelet-derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR), and fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR), thereby inhibiting angiogenesis and cell proliferation. TSU 68 also inhibits the phosphorylation of the stem cell factor receptor tyrosine kinase c-kit, often expressed in acute myelogenous leukemia cells. [1][2]
