Details:

Bay 11-7082 (BAY 11-7821) inhibits TNFα-induced IκBα phosphorylation with IC50 of 10 μM. The transcription factor NF-κB plays a key role in regulating over 150 target genes including the expression of inflammatory cytokines, chemokines, immunoreceptors, and cell adhesion molecules. Bay 11-7082 leads to decreased NF-κB and subsequent decreased expression of adhesion molecules and also reversibly activates MAP kinases and stimulates apoptosis. ^[1][2]
