M344 is a potent HDAC inhibitor with IC50 of 100 nM. M344 induces terminal cell differentiation and causes an increase in hyperacetylated histone H4. It also induces cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in human endometrial and ovarian cancer cells. [1][2]
